Eric was an inspiration to the people in Coventry who suffered with sight loss. For over 35 years having lost his own sight, he was determined in helping others, and was the founder of Coventry Visually Impaired and Sighted Tandem Association helping people to ride bikes with an able bodied person on the front and a Visually impaired person on the back
He became a Trustee of Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind.
He also spent years talking to children in schools about assisting people with all forms of sight loss.

Eric you made Coventry a better place for people with sight loss with the work you started many years ago and continued over the years. Many Thanks from the friends you made on the way who will miss you.

Eric Sayce has supported people with sight loss for over 35 years after losing his own sight. He was an inspiration to everyone he met and worked tirelessly. He was the founder of Coventry Visually Impaired and sighted Tandem Association raising money and helping people with sight loss in Coventry. He was a Trustee of Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind and he also spent a number of years giving talks to Children in Schools on how to help visually impaired people.
Eric you were an inspiration to us all and a lovely, kind man who will be greatly missed by me and the people of Coventry.
